About Element Lab Rx

Element Lab Rx is a 503A compounding pharmacy and pharmacy wholesaler built around one idea: medications should work for the patient they are prescribed for. Built by founder Dr. Julia through the lense of whats missing for medication optimization.

We provide human and veterinary compounding, preparing customized medications when a commercially available product may not be the right fit.

For veterinary patients, compounding can be especially important.

Animals can be difficult to medicate for many reasons—they may refuse pills, have difficulty swallowing, require very small or individualized doses, or need a medication that is not commercially available in an appropriate strength or dosage form.

Compounding allows us to work with veterinarians to create medications in forms that are more practical for the individual animal, including flavored oral suspensions and solutions, capsules, flavored chews, topical preparations, and other customized dosage forms.

For human patients, we provide non-sterile compounding across a range of therapeutic areas, including customized topical preparations and hormone therapy. Some therapies require specialized handling because of the nature of the ingredients involved.

Our pharmacy follows appropriate procedures for the preparation and handling of hazardous non-sterile medications, with the goal of maintaining a controlled and carefully managed compounding environment.

We work closely with prescribers to prepare formulations tailored to the needs of individual patients—whether that means a specific strength, combination of ingredients, dosage form, or formulation that is not readily available commercially.
